The Vienna Ring Tram | Get on and experience Vienna
When visiting Vienna, you shouldn’t miss a ride on the Viennese public transport – if you get on the Ring Tram, you can look forward to a special discovery tour!
25 minutes “Voigas”: enjoy Vienna at full speed with the Ring Tram
As you go along the historic street with one magnificent building adjoining the other, you will not only learn about the Ringstraße in 25 minutes, but will also get to know the peculiarities of the Viennese dialect.
The actor Karl Merkatz (known as Mundl from “Ein echter Wiener geht nicht unter”) gives interesting background information on the State Opera, Hofburg, Parliament, Burgtheater, and so on via LCD screen and headphones – and that in the original Viennese dialect. If you want to check out the dialect before your visit, you will find some useful words here.
Don’t worry if you don’t understand a word! The information is available in 8 languages (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian, Russian, and Japanese). For the little ones, the author of children’s books, Erich Schleyer, describes in a child-oriented and exciting way what there is to see during the ride.
